What is Peer Mediation?
Peer Mediation is an effective form of conflict resolution as it allows pupils to resolve their disputes in a peaceful, non-violent way. Pupils work with their peers to resolve disputes without the assistance of teachers. Mediation has been proven to be a peaceful method of conflict resolution.

Mediation is not about apportioning blame, it is not about the past and it is not advice. The process is voluntary for both sides and Peer Mediators do not "make decisions" but rather work towards helping the parties in conflict to solve their own problems with one another in order to avoid further trouble.
